Grading Systems
A great change has occurred in the system of publication of results of public examinations i.e. HSC and SSC Examination in compliance with the notification of the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh Government. The traditional numbering methods have been replaced by a modern Letter Grade method for the publication of SSC and HSC results since 2001 and 2003 respectively. Though the Head Examiners and Examiners, appointed by the board taking from schools and colleges, assign marks in the scripts showing the Raw Score (i.e. 33, 34, 35, 55, 80, 85 etc.) the marks are changed into Letter Grade in the process of preparing the results through computerized way. The system of changing the Raw Score obtained by an SSC or HSC candidate into Letter Grade is given in the following table-
